Coping with Guilt and Shame When You Have Cancer

 Cancer is hard enough without adding guilt to the mix.  What are some of the ways in which people with cancer feel guilty, and what tips might help you cope with the guilt?  On another note, if you have yet to file your 2014 tax return, make sure to add up your medical deductions - you may be surprised.

Coping with Shame

 Shame, like guilt, is another emotion that can steal joy from people living with lung cancer.  Sadly, the public stigma of lung cancer has done little to help people avoid the blame and shame game.  That said, practicing self-compassion doesn't depend on the stigma, and can be done by anyone living with the disease.  Read more
