With the 86th Annual Academy Awards this Sunday evening, we've got movies on our minds as we head into the weekend. But even as we root for some of the year's biggest blockbusters and indie flicks, we can't help but notice at least one movie genre MIA in the list of nominees. That's why today's mission is to honor a group of films (and an entire About.com site!) that doesn't always get the love at the box office it often deserves.

War Movies: The Rules of Engagement
According to Johnny Rico, the About.com War Movies Expert, war films have a certain moral expectation and responsibility that other genres of cinema do not share. That's why he created the four major rules of war films that filmmakers should abide by when presenting these historical conflicts to the world audience.
