Certainly this question is important from a global standpoint, but why would it be important in the United States, especially to people who are already coping with lung cancer? One reason is that it points out that there are many causes of lung cancer, and nearly everyone living with lung cancer is tired of the stigma. Another is a reason is one I am very excited about. In less than 2 months I will be attending the annual world lung cancer conference. I am thrilled to be able to then share many of the strides being made in the treatment of this disease worldwide.
Best wishes until Monday, Dr. Lynne
